Augustis külastasid prantsuse kutid Benjamin Bello ja Luc Legrand koos sõpradega Rootsit, Soomet ja Eestit. Ben on BMX ajakirja Soul toimetaja ning Luc on Wethepeople pro rattur. Siin on meeste reisijutustus, mille algupärasuse huvides jätame siinkohal tõlkimata.

At first, there was only 5 french guys (Chico, Ben, Chinois, Rababiou and Victor) in Stockholm at Klas’s place, they rode a lot in the beginning and partied hard, and went to an island at Klas’ father place where I think they enjoyed the best moments of their trip. Then I came, then Fabien the day after and then Luc came too. One french guy more every day, Klas did enjoy it (hehe) and so we finished at 8 for three days, days where we shares sessions in street, and Skogas skatepark, an awesome place. We had few parties too that we’ll remember, or maybe not. And then the first four left, leaving Victor, Fabien and Luc with me going to Helsinki.

In Helsinki we arrived so drunk and tired caused by the traditional craziness of the ferry-trip. Highlights were Vic and Luc buying weird stuff at the tax free shop in the morning, Vic puking while Luc is singing Irish songs he doesn’t know, Luc’s kissing a very old lady, Fabien being walked on by Vic who didn’t see him sleeping on the floor and for me it was very quiet (hehe), even too much I think because it took one hour for them to find me on the boat when we arrived. Did I mention that everything started cause of some Russians made us drink some tequila with them. Well, as soon as we were on Finnish ground, Victor fell in the middle of the street. Jorma showed us the beach of Helsinki where me and Luc had a nice nap, swimming in dirty water with dead fish and crazy low water diver. We had a small session on the way back and then we went to an incredible streetpark where Luc killed it. We met also Patrick and many other locals. The street session was pretty short as we were very tired. We had a good street session later, a cool session at outdoor Savala park too and many hangovers. Two big parties during these few days : 1st one at a bar called “we have beef” where we tried Fisherman Friends vodka, then went to disco to get wet with Kai, and then on the way back we met a old guy inviting us to drink more at his place. After one hour we realised he was probably a nazi. We laughed about it, Fabien was frightened and when he showed us his mixed up belongings containing bed with Hitler, goring, the Che, the duce Mussolini and start repeating the Hitler speech then we moved and went sleeping in Jorma’s cellar. Funny night though. Second party was at home until midnight where we started drinking our own Fisherman Friend vodka we made and about 30 minutes afterward, it was gone and I was too. At 1 we left the flat to a 1euro bier bar where we danced by hiphop. At four i was sleeping on the floor outside and starting getting annoying to everyone “I am going home, rahaagrhrhjhrr puking, and falling”. Fabien was tired too but he saved me by bringing me home in a taxi. I have no clue about the rest as I just heard Luc and Victor speaking away to some strangers. I think they found some weed at this point. It was our last evening, the day after or something like that. Vic and fabien were gone back to stockholm for the Skogas jam where Klas proudly represented, won and broke his arm, Luc and me were going to Tallinn for the simpel session summer event.

We took a speedboat, arrived on sunset and little skirts out, went for a beer and got brain attacked by temptation of all he beautiful girls we saw. We decided to go home and stay quiet. The day after Luc won the contest with nice lines and original tricks on the great session park designed by Nate Weasel and made real by locals abilities. The contest was very cool indeed, dry and peaceful, quick and efficient. Now they have a cool park in tallinn, go check it out in the winter, it’s indoor now. Luc sold the parts he won and we wen back to the hotel, met Jens and Daniel Hunt and went eating with them in a fancy indian restaurant where we were surrounded by princesses (a room full of girls with coronets). Then we met Russian and Latvian riders in a rock bar, played with coins, drunk a bit and then Luc and our new friends left to the Venus club, some place normally we shouldn’t go as it’s probably one of the worst, expensive…and it was a Russian techno party, but I danced and talked to depressed girls, Luc spoke to Russians and tried to sell them cocaine he doesn’t have (hehe). It’s good that we were out safe. In early morning we went helping youngsters to set their stand at the market.. don’t ask me why, we just didn’t want to sleep and we laughed very hard with them. The it was time to wake up Jens and Daniel to take a heavy breakfast at the hotel. We went to bed in our very warm room at 12. Woke up at 7 and we rode a bit at night, visited the beautiful old city of Tallinn and also a weird ghetto park where we played junkies (hehe).

The rest of our period in tallinn was pretty wet, raining a lot, and staying easy at Risto’s place, meeting his wonderful friendly roomates. We decided to move to Haapsalu, a small city 100km away on the Baltic coast. We met Myschkwa – a guy we met first at the contest, a very friendly lad who showed us the city, and their indoor skatepark which was very cool. A great souvenir was the sauna-swimming pool he took us before we met his friends who were fans of tuning. We played gangsta on the streets of Haapsalu and ended up in a hotel bar and drunk with some Russians, old soldier, old drunk comedian and a couple of young girls. Damned good evening. The day after we couldn’t ride the outdoor park so we left after eating in a very nice but strange place, a good meal for 2 euros prepared by old grand ma in an alcoholic bar (hehe). We saw crazy sunset on a ghetto place close to the Baltic Sea and our friend drove us back to Tallinn in his BMW, singing songs in French, Estonian and Russian, improvising hiphop too. The road looked so short then, it was good fun.
One night of rest in Tallinn, again at our generous Risto’s place and we were off to Tartu, an old city in the middle of Estonia. As soon as the bus arrived we went to the skatepark guided by the locals Ingvar and Andu (probably the most talented rider in Estonia besides Kert Petersel, a Simple bike rider). The park in Tartu is so large, with a lot of space between the ramps (old but still rideable and enoyable) but there is enough to have fun. We finished bike riding in their indoor small but funny park. A good meal and a couple of beers later, I slept well with Luc in the bed (hehe). The day after went back again to the indoor park and visited the city that has the oldest university of the country, a lot of parks and very nice wooden houses that look like in the far west. It was peaceful. Oh yeah luc did a 20meter rail on the fourth bunny up of the day. Before taking the bus back, we went shopping and testing every Saku beer we could. In the bus we met Risto’s other roomate we hadn’t seen and had nice talk while sharing drinks. The two hours trip was of course so good, funny even if the beers made us wanting for a toilet stop.

Back to Tallinn, a big party waited us at Timo’s place in order to celebrate the end of his house. The dresscode was emo and everyone wore make-up, including me. It was such a good party, Luc saw more than me as he went to the factory afterwards, a club outskirts of the city, he came back alone on his feet maybe for two hours walk, but he had good time shooting the citypics. When I was back to the house at 12 the day after, Luc was there and Timo wore girls hair, I guess they kept on partying late. With Luc we took our bikes and went to the beach to see wassup, we found a funny skatepark in a place where there was a big festival for teenagers. Then we found the beach and chilled some more. At night, we went in some bars, a very cool one to finish, in a cave with nice people (can’t tell you more héhéhé). The day after was the last one in Tallinn, after trying and failing making crepes/pancake to our host, we ran to take our ferry and almost missed it cause of my broken chain. 2 hours after entering the ferry back to stockholm, we were sleeping in our cabins. We woke up in some harbour so far away from Klas place where we needed to go back. It took 1 hour to find the downtown bowl of stockhom, having a sort of session, a burger king and back to Klas parents place. The trip ended there with some incredible chinese tea of his mum, delicious food they prepared us and wine, the stories, laughs of Klas, we had such a great evening. perfect to end this crazy trip!

Again, thanks to all of you! I have gained many friends, i feel richer. Love!

Ben
